This is an ancient, but relatively unheard of Japanese dueling style called ‘tugoware’, where the duelists fight left handed, whilst trying to yank a double-handled katana out of each other’s hands.

Fuck, AI really doesn’t get weapons, does it? Amazing it can put together reasonable looking armour, but just can’t figure out a sword.

… we should probably keep it that way. It’s going to be stunned when it tries fighting us.

Nah, That was the origin of what morphed into the WWE’s Texas bull rope match. Here the Ronin had to hold onto the double-handled katana so they couldn’t run away from their opponent. WWE chickened out by dropping the blade and using a 14-foot rope.

I’ve long hated how when you take down only one of them, after a few seconds the other gets a big buff, recovers a lot of HP, and becomes immune to the frozen status.

Almost as bad as the twin lizards.
