Honestly its one of those games where I recommend people pirate and if you like it or feel like you got a lot out of it and think they do deserve it, pay for it.
Which is a shame, because it’s the only DQ game I haven’t played because it’s a MMO and not translated into English.

How it shapes how I view games is how Zelda creates a lot of subconscious rules we take for granted until we see it not being used.
For example:
You’ll often find the “locked door” before finding the key.
You’ll see the treasure chest at the end, but no way to get there.
You see the cracked walls with no bombs.
A lot of puzzles are clearly pointing out the problems without words.
As expected. Many people just see it as an opportunity to talk about their favorite games. That’s okay.

Bought it during COVID and it was AMAZING, even with just three biomes. But Im exhausted.
The updates weren’t as impressive. Yes, there was a lot of new stuff. But they took a long time. A really long time. And it didn’t feel like they improved on a lot of things, rather than expand on it.
After months after Valheim was released (in early access) V Rising and a bunch of other games also came out (also in early access).
Many of them shipped a 1.0 already, and improved on their early access version greatly.
Heck, Even games inspired by Valheim are nearing the finish line and have better features. Enshrouded is already light-years ahead.
