To play horse you would shoot a ball from a certain spot and if you made it, the other person would have to shoot from the same spot or they get a letter. If you miss the other player gets to pick a spot. And so on until someone gets HORSE and loses. Also played with skateboard tricks and called SKATE.
When I was in school it was shirts vs skins. Two separate schools in two separate states. I’m 39.
At Christian academy we played horse though.
