"Waiter is paid below the already sad minimum wage because tips are somehow factored into their paycheck. " Also don’t forget the folks working in the back of the house. I’ve never worked in the service industry, so that might still be a thing, but even if it is, that shouldn’t have to exist.
Then, are tips included in the waiters taxable income, or is it more like extra money not contributing to the common thnijgs ? (genuine auestion)
