If my company makes 10.000.000 with just 5 employees, then it is one of the most profitable companies ever. But this does not factor in how much of that money ist spend on keeping the infrastructure up, paying for resources or manufacturing.

I don’t get the logic.

You’re thinking of revenue, not profit. Profit is revenue minus costs.
