    even if you’re a nintendo fan, you don’t have to tune in to 1 hour of advertisements, you know

    i promise, once it’s over you’ll find out about all announcements you care about in other ways

      I don’t understand why people have issues with shows like this, it’s not like ads on annoying news websites, people want to watch them, I’m not watching but I think it’s quite exciting waiting for a trailer you want to see (silksong for example) compared to seeing it in a news article afterwards.

      Screw that—that 30 minute premiere for Kirby Air Riders was pure bliss. If it’s a game I love, I want all the detes I can get.

      This is the same fanbase that dropped $500 for a slightly better Nintendo Switch, there’s no reasoning with them.

        nintendo directs were always advertisements, it’s kinda their goal: to advertise to you upcoming nintendo products

        I guess Iwata and Reggie made them more pleasant to watch, but they were still ads
