Woah! This is the second best tech support I’ve had this year. Thank you for 1. Identifying a bug, and 2. Offering a workaround same day!
You have my gratitude.

Hey! Thanks for stepping in. This is what Uname -A gets me:
Linux winux 6.14.0-33-generic #33~24.04.1-Ubuntu SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Fri Sep 19 17:02:30 UTC 2 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
And my Info Center says this:
Operating System: KDE neon User Edition KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.19.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 Kernel Version: 6.14.0-33-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland Processors: 8 × 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i3-1315U Memory: 8 GiB of RAM (7.5 GiB usable) Graphics Processor: Intel® Graphics Manufacturer: LENOVO Product Name: 82X7 System Version: IdeaPad Slim 3 15IRU8
And this is my configuration page for the night light setting, which appears to be set for specific times:

In car nav systems are nowhere near as up to date and useful as maps or Waze. And updating them is often as clunky as a new windows install. Some can only be updated by the dealer. It feels 20 years behind to use the systems offered by a lot of car companies.

I can certainly understand not liking it. Besides it’s offensive social takes, it’s definitely not what a typical Resident Evil game is supposed to be. But a buddy and I spent years trying to find good coop game experiences and as far as games that actually sculpt and tend to the coop part as opposed to just throwing a coop mode in at the last moment, very few come anywhere close to the effort to put into this one. On harder difficulties it’s actually a really interesting challenge that’s not just about bullet sponges or grinding for better gear but about strategy and effective teamwork.

If you can get past its extremely questionable social issues, I’ve never played a co-op combat game as well designed and implemented as resident evil 5. It forces you to work together in a variety of challenges and unexpected ways. It keeps you both focused on mutual goals. And if you don’t work together with situational awareness and effective communication, you will not succeed. I really wish it sold better because I’ve never seen a company since put as much effort into co-op design except maybe the “it takes two” and “a way out” guy. But those aren’t shooters.
And this is How Col. Campbell’s persona came to be in Sons of the Patriots.
Is this the dude who uses the freeze bomb on the ship at the beginning of two? Because when that came out that was probably the baddest scene I’ve ever witnessed in a video game. That was the moment I got hooked on the franchise.

Check out Nile Red on Nebula, (or YT if that’s your bag). He makes American Cheese from the ground cheddar up and you can watch. Having done so, I agree with you.

Just adding support for this recommendation. I had 4 gaming headsets before this, and got this for about $140 on sale. It’s far and away the best sounding headset I’ve ever used for non-professional purposes. There are two caveats:
3.5mm jack works on most gaming consoles through the controller. And you can get a super cheap and small adapter from 3.5mm to USB-C if you want to use it with phone or other USB-C input. But if you need wireless this won’t do it.
They are open back style headphones. Meaning there’s a considerable amount of sound leakage into the room with you. Someone sitting next to you can hear every word of your voice chat or phone call. They sound really open airy and have a great sound-stage because of this, but it’s not great if you need privacy. They do make the Game One version with a closed back.

But zero was Majima at his least wacky. He spends most of it just being a regular Yakuza.

Legend of Kyrandia. 😭

Balatro high contrast mode is a godsend.

So, just sword and sandal Sims? Jesus, it sounds so plausible now.

Look at it this way, Google stopped caring about their viewers as anything more than wallets to empty years ago. Now they’re going through the same cycle with advertisers. They don’t care if the ads land, or the targeting works, just that they can convince them to keep buying ad space.
Eventually the ROI will show as not worth it to the advertisers, but by then Pichai and the rest of the C-suite will be pulling the same scam at another company whose investors are more greedy and stupid than saavy.
Because the horrible truth of America now, is that CEOs and their ilk have stopped caring about creating value, or building a sustainable business model with long term revenue. Now they just look at witless investors as wallets to be emptied too.

This puts the whole thing in new perspective. This sounds like conspiracy theory and delusion. I almost expect this from Insanepeoplefacebook.

That was a lame joke about the check mark. 😔

Why is Javascript on Twitter?
Didn’t know they could look like that. Neat!

Thank you for correcting my misinformaion. I have edited my post, while pointing out the error, My sincere apologies.
Coke and Skittles, duh.
