I feel this so hard. I fucking see you. I’m very much a extrovert. I enjoy going out and doing things with people MUCH more than I do being at home. I get hype when I get to plan something, whether that’s at my house for a D&D session or out and about around town (or even vacations). I’m also a “more the merrier type”, which means everyone is invited and I’ll genuinely talk to you/make sure no one is left out. I just like people.

But after a certain amount of times being stood-up/flaked on in the final hours, I stop with the invites. I stop asking for people’s opinions on if they want to do things with me. I stop planning. And I just kinda disconnect from people.

I’ve had introverted coworkers and associates tell me “I like to be invited, I just don’t always like to go. But I want to be included.”

But bruh, it hurts my feelings too when I get so excited to hang with everyone and you bail regularly. Clearly at some point I have to accept that I’m just not your cup of tea, and you’re prioritizing other things. That’s okay, but it doesn’t mean I have to accept continuously being knocked down by you because of it.

Imma take a stab in the dark and say that you’re your friend groups “planner” friend as well. It’s really fucking frustrating to try and plan something as simple as a dinner that requires reservations, and people are like “Um. Uh. Maybe I’ll come, idk”, up until the last minute. Or even a headcount for food being served at your house.

Coincidentally enough, the first time I encountered thus kind of toilet was in a Hausmann flat in the Latin Quarter of Paris in late winter 2022! That made me kind of assume that these were ubiquitous to Paris because I didn’t encounter them in Germany or Belgium or Eastern France.

Now I know that was a conscious choice that the flat owner made!

I’m sorry, putting my face on a naked body that’s not mine is one thing, but I really do fear for the people whose likeness gets used in some degrading/depraved porn and it’s actually believable because it’s AI generated. That is SO much worse/psychologically damaging if they find out about it.

Wow really? I find him extremely attractive! It’s actually how my husband got me to play “Until Dawn” because I was pretty disinterested until I found out he was the main character.

I find his eyes to be very evocative. They make me think of someone spending all night partying and existing in the mysterious parts of society that us normie day dwellers don’t get to see.

I’m honestly kind of shocked at this. I know for our annual evaluations this year, people were using ChatGPT to write their statements.

I thought for sure someone with a secret squirrel type job was going to use it for that innocuous purpose, end up inputting top secret information, and then the DoD would ban the practice completely.

Oh it is. It’s exploded like CRAZY in the past 10 years and it just keeps expanding outward instead of upward. City planners definitely designed this place to be the epitome of “urban sprawl”.

For real though, if I had it my way, we’d live within 5-8 miles of where I work and I’d bike every day it wasn’t raining.

Next duty station though! We’re gonna buy/rent closer to the base, wherever that is!

Bruh I live 26 miles from where I work by car, and 21 miles by biking per Google Maps. And most of it is highway travel. It would make my commute over 1.5 hrs.

It is the dream if/when we can move closer though.
