Why Mozilla? Why? You were the chosen one… Fuck it, I’m going back to lynx! Tabs? Sure we have tabs in lynx, just run lynx in tmux

W11 even enterprise users are all tied into autopilot, Intune MDM, and/or a microsoft account
The “win 11 business editions 23h2” iso that I got from visualstudio.com yesterday, did no more than the usual amount of crap to make it difficult to find the “join a domain instead”, allowing me to make a local user.
I wouldn’t mind one in my basement… If I had a basement. But I do have a nice shed, where a 30MW reactor would fit nicely.
Nukeheads are insane
That’s your opinion. My opinion is that we need distributed power generation that can handle baseload. And neither solar nor wind can do that. My personal experience is, that our wind turbine usually doesn’t spin for several periods of up to 10 days in December through March. And energy storage with the required capacity still doesn’t exist either. Thus the power plants will be burning LNG, biomass, garbage or oil and coal, for the foreseeable future.
A centrally controlled, well regulated, network of small reactors will solve the problem.
Probably 20 per slab, and an annual yield of about two slabs combined. Of course it will only run for a month before breaking down, due to some vital part going missing.
Hairpin and a hammer? HA! THEY were lucky! We had to do lithography with nothing but a water droplet and sunlight! And firmware was burned in as well.
What happened to Adam Conover? I used to actually like his content. I probably agree with his message, but IDK because I only managed to get 2m45 into the video by skipping and playing double speed, and I’m not watching the rest.
I don’t remember him being so loud and aggressive. What the fuck’s up with the poop jokes?
Youtube must really hate those guys…
Makes you wonder how long it will take, before Raymond Hill plummets to his death from a basement window.
Depends on how strict you are about the tests. Google is obviously satisfied if the first live iteration of a product doesn’t kill more than 5% of the users.
Original Finnish management has split off to a new independent company with the same name last year
Best business move EVER! Now people have to wonder with whom they’re doing business. Sorta keeps people on their toes. Way better than coming up with a new brand, making it easier for their five customers. /s
I was wondering what a washing machine needed a TPM for. Better title: “machine fails to boot after power failure”
I still haven’t warmed up to using it for currency either, for me it’s a command on Cisco’s IOS. Which, BTW, I have to make clear is made by Cisco and make my phone write with a capital i.
I understand that the world evolves, and that languages do as well … but I do have a problem with the speed which it evolves with, as well as it seems like the ignorant use of existing terminologies, is the main evolutionary factor these days.
Don’t engage with them, look at the username. I wish more trolls were this upfront about it.
But still you’ll never get it right

Maybe you can use Team COBOL’s wheelchairs as walkers?
I’m not Swedish either and I’m proud of that
Nothing directly, but solidarity between workers can be a bitch.
You guys read the articles? I just read the comments. Scrolling to here I’ve learned that:
LOL was about to implement esxi, on a rather beefy surplus server, to run all my students’ PCs on since win 11 won’t boot on their hardware from 24h2… Guess my students won’t get to use VMware and the purchase approval I just got for a few workstation pro licenses wasn’t needed.
Proxmox for baremetal hypervisor, or? I’ve got a bunch of windows server licenses as well, I think some for hyper-v server as well. What would you implement?
Be me
Teach intro to it-support/devops Course is relatively cheap for the school, as we only use the stuff that the IT dept has obsoleted
Currently getting 4th gen core i7 machines Life is good, every student has a few i7 machines for clients (win 10) and windows server
Microsoft announces end of life for win 10 Hate win 11, but if we must…
MFW Microsoft announces the requirement of CPUs 4 gens newer than the newest machines we’re receiving. And I now have to tell my boss that the otherwise cheap course, with not enough students otherwise, will need an investment of at least 18 new desktop machines
Anybody hiring?
Sorry I can’t read your reply, lynx doesn’t render it properly ;)
