Idk some people like to do it as a kind of activity during vacation or something.

Literally me on Lemmy every 2 seconds ngl Imma just leave or stop commenting this community is dogshit
There should be regulations on it to prevent addictions but I don’t know about banning all together.
The larger problem is the presence of children and other young people using it to gamble. Check my other comment to see what I mean with a first hand account of it.
Idk about 10k but a kid I met a few years younger than me opened a $1.5k karambit, sold it on steam market for a valve index and a steam deck. That means a child was gambling…
Even electric engines can still break and have issues
That’s not how cs works. You can sell the items either on steam market (which steam makes even more money from) or to a 3rd party website where they will give you actual money (sometimes in the thousands, the most we’ve ever seen was an item going for ~$675,000).
Nice
" wait it’s just people pushing weird politics and a bunch of nsfw stuff and even the posts that seem good have some weird secondary agenda and other weird shit"
You won’t be able to adjust it very high. And what is a better solution than 1 ton death traps? Is it trains? No. That would require rebuilding every city in America to be like 4 buildings and nothing else and the places where it would work already have it like new York. Is it buses? No. They are already in place and nobody uses them. So tell me, what is the actual solution besides cars?
The fact is goes as far as as fast as you can isn’t really a good thing. Also collisions are more likely to kill you.
Thought I was looking at r/place for a moment
And this isn’t always possible. In fact it commonly isn’t. I do agree the people who don’t do anything and complain is stupid but many jobs don’t have any opportunity for more and you become stuck.
I actually doubt that phones are the major reason for a post like this. There are many reasons that you could fill in that only happen to some schools but phones happen to be the only one that applies to nearly every school. For example, at my school, our lunches have been cut down to shit 15 minutes at most, and if you buy lunch, it’s much less. We usually have them call 5 minutes left. Sometimes they will say the kitchen is closed, sometimes they can’t because people are still ordering.
Imagine just going around and putting these signs on locked doors. There would be so many people trying as hard as they can to open a locked door.
Google’s files app really helps with this
