If you get reported or post a hot take, admins can look at your karma to see if your takes are usually hot, and at how often you tend to upvote vs downvote. They don’t have to do anything with that information, it’s just to help them tell if a user is controversial

No, the 4chan filter is documented. And I actually think it’s a pretty neat feature. Despite being a communist, I’m not quite enough of a left wing radical to want to use it, but I still appreciate what it’s made for. Don’t worry, there’s a communist PieFed instance that has the 4chan filter turned off. It’s called MULTIVERSE. However, you can’t reach it from lemmy.ml and ideologically aligned instances, because their admins are state capitalists who would break our rules if they were allowed to. We only allow capitalists who are here to engage in good faith, whether that means being open to changing their minds, or just arguing respectfully with care for the value of other people’s time and energy.

That’s a lot better, but I have a secondary concern I didn’t want to clog the above comment with. It’s that chickens as they exist today shouldn’t really exist. They’ve been bred to the point that the daily periods destroy their bodies. It’s not healthy. It’s like the problem with pugs, we should have left them alone, and now that they’re like this, it’s our responsibility to breed them back to health. Continuing to breed more with these health problems is an act of abuse in itself.
