I’m just a weird, furry, pan guy (cis he/him). I also have a big, blue username.
I’m learning Japanese so sometimes I might write something out in romaji just to practice. Please correct it if it’s wrong!

“Hey if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it ‘Nintendo’ I’ll do it. Trust me, I’ve got the time.”
Well if I was going to hire Tim Cain to do a Fallout… I’d let him figure that out. Do whatever you want, buddy! Just set it inside the Fallout universe.
My standards have not changed in the least. The quality of journalistic integrity sure the fuck has, though. And not just with video games or entertainment media, but across the board.
“Sir, I know we can but should we?”
So it wants to be cyberpunk? Good to know.
Most of what I’ve seen was “waaaaaah! It’s too hard! 😭”
Though there are some legitimate complaints about performance. The areas with tons of waterfalls and the final fight have hella slowdown.
Video game journalism has always just been third party PR
Nah. Back in the days of print, there actually was some fucking integrity with most outlets. Such as with Computer Gaming World.
Those poor, poor, TV execs… They all had to settle for gold plating in their heated in-door pools and Rolls Royces instead of platinum. 😔
Maybe they should remove the big Early Access banner from the store page if the game is actually finished. I liked it when it first launched and had the free play weekend, but I wasn’t going to spend the $30-40 it cost for a single map on an unfinished game.
And I mean even back in the hay days of Tribes 2, it was sort of a niche game.
Just because it has a lot of players doesn’t mean it’s good. I mean, recently, one of the top 5 games on Steam just a few days ago was a literal scam. (The Banana game)
Monopoly: 1. the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service.
There are plenty of videos showing people beating the game using one hand with disability controllers as well as entirely with voice controls or controllers that were specifically designed to be as stupid as possible (like bananas).
“To defeat Godrick the Grafted, one must become Godrick the Grafted.”
I’ve spent $160 on Elden Ring (base game on PC and PS5 and I have the DLC on PC), and have spent 638.5 hours in it just on Steam. That’s about $0.25/hour. Even arcade games aren’t that cheap anymore!
The fact that Epic Game Store exists at all is proof that Steam isn’t a monopoly. A monopoly means they’re the only option. Steam is not the only option. It is simply the best option.
