Technically, an orbital “Rods from God” weapon would also still qualify under “sticks and stones”. Just very big ones.

since this battery update was forced on laptops originally released in 2020, this issue has also bricked hardware outside of the warranty window, when previously users could simply send in the laptop for a free repair.
I hope HP aren’t surprised when they get accosted with bricked laptops through their execs’ windshields at random intervals…
Jesus Batman that saturation
I didn’t delete my comments before nuking my account, but I’m pretty sure the grand majority were shitposts containing ample amounts of smut, gore and other ridiculous over the top shit. So I consider this a win.
More likely they’ll get the Mitnick treatment.
Interesting. When I was around 4 years old I suffered from debilitating nightmares to the point of refusing to go to sleep. Coincidentally, this was also when I came into contact with my first games (Amiga 500 at the time, I’m ancient) and somehow that “taught” my mind that you can fight back against the baddies and win. Never suffered from nightmares ever after that point.

EULAs and TOSes are as legally binding as a secondhand piece of toiletpaper with a contract written in shit. Almost every single one will be thrown out in court. The problem is getting to that point in the first place, and incurring the (time, effort & money) costs while enduring. Most common people can’t afford that, which the companies know, so they keep making unenforceable EULAs.
Anyone who still gives Blizzard money in 2024 deserves to get milked dry. You are informed, vote with your goddamn wallet.
Down bad son?
