I have updated my existing installation of fedora 39 kde to 40 and the nvidia kernel module didn’t load properly so nouveau was used instead, than I have redone the setup for the dmks because it wasn’t present in the config file to load it and everything worked fine for now. Anyway on fedora 40 you need to install xorg yourself

The game only happened to run without any work by them (and it’s understandable after 6 years of development and the various documentation already available for the switch’s tegra chip) and this is happening every time a new game for the switch is released.

Definitely rockstar indeed manhunt, another of their games, has the same razor hex sign in the game files, and I’m pretty much sure rockstar did this, because manhunt is unplayable on steam because all the antipiracy measure in it are trigghered, and the funny thing is that is not happening because of the crack but because rockstart added the steam drm in a non code section of the game that trip a Data Execution Prevention.

The best way to switch imo is to first to switch some of your currently installed app on windows with others that have a linux version, so you will not be entirely lost when you switch os.

For example Microsoft Office is not available on linux so maybe try libreoffice or onlyoffice, another example Photoshop doesn’t have a linux version too.

Then maybe try to familiarize with the os on a vm or on a live usb, especially on a live usb so you know what works out of the box and with your hardware.

If you want to game look for you games on protondb if they work or not, for online games instead watch areweanticheatyeat to see if the anticheat work.

Last tip is to go with a know distro not something obscure like steamos or kali linux, they are not meant to be used as daily drivers especially kali and can give you problems that will not occurre in other distro!
