Would it be a downside? Slower? Very costly?
Would it be a downside? Slower? Very costly?
Ok, but it might be in other areas. Example lets see someone invent very high efficiently on solar panels with no weight at all. Or lets get rid of rubber wheels and do sifi so the car can hover over the road.
It would be wonder if they last forever and easly could be repaired. Making it better to keep the car then buy a new one. It just need to be upgradedable to the latest standards that might be more safe, efficient and agree with current law.
But I am pretty that would never exist - too hard.
Hexchat and pidgin. What to do now when they are not supported on wayland?
How many % of these 70% can’t upgrade to windows 11 due to hardware limitation?
Well, it is the many against the few rich. It is everyones planet.
I guess even pressing random buttons is fun enough.
I actually dont understand why we not do something drastic. I mean like ban cars and planes. We can still get around. Just not at the same speed at the moment. Someone will come up with a better idea then gas cars.
We also need to think about computers. Why throw them away? We could just make better software and keep the devices for a very, very long time. Heck, very bad computer could land on the moon…
These things were made for kids. But I guess there is a kids mode available on smartphone. Never even looked for it.
But yeah, games and movies I guess they are looking for.
I am actually surprised that they even can use it. This is the time when they start to learn to read…
Microsoft got to much time on their hands. Can they please work on the more important stuff like completing the transition from controlpanel to settings?
I actually want Microsoft to do better. Then can, they just ignore user feedback about user choice, design, what to work on etc. Good if they start to get some competition. I wonder what will happen when ARM gets common in a normal PC-build. Good opportunity to make some big changes.
If there is a problem at low power usage then you can easily solve it by temporary add more power. Lets say add a 40watt lamp or something, later remove it from the calculation.
OS Y came out
As long as you can’t see Linux machines in normal computer stores it will not happen. Users never get the opportunity to experience it. Today there is no killer feature really like the other OS have.
Not a problem. I use my Domain so can easily move elsewhere. And I have a backup of all my mail in my email client.
These new are highend. So expensive, powerhungry and not hugly better than x86 CPUs on their tasks. Must have something that makes it a nobrainer so that it is much better on every aspect.
Apple just had 100% control of all Apples products so they basically forced them over when their new product was just better in most cases.
Because there is no native gui. For most things to configure in Linux there is a webui but not a simple Gui built in. Configuration files like squid.conf smb.conf nginx.com… then we have logs but here I think I never checked for a Gui, does it work for remote ssh easily? Can you restart service easy?
That is something that should be possible: Choosing a backup sync server that have my data(profile). I hope they implement that
Just stop supporting the biggest actor in the market.
