I don’t know what they call it where you are from but here light rail is trams. Similar to San Francisco cable cars.
But the vaccines literally have zero to do with the US administration. Why would the president inform your medical decision making process? With the exception of J&J (which I know nothing of), they were developed and manufactured outside the US.
In Australia people also have issues. They are calling it vaccine fatigue here, where people aren’t getting their boosters and also aren’t getting their flu shots. People are getting tired of vaccines. I admit I’m behind on mine. I had my 4th shot last April, and you are meant to have a booster every 6 months. So far I’ve had 2x Pfizer, 1x Novavax/Nuvaxovid and 1x Moderna. I’ve also had covid 3 times. Every shot (except Novavax surprisingly) makes me have minimum 2 days off in bed/on the couch with symptoms and I find myself putting it off.
At least units/condos have enough parking. Here they approve sky scrapers of 3 bedroom units with 2 car parks in tiny streets. Those then get rented to 3-5 people (after allowing for couples) and these tiny streets become smaller with overcrowded parking.
She was last seen properly in public on Christmas Day 2023. She had surgery early January. Info is all vague. There’s been 2 recent paparazzi pics of her recently, grainy through car windows).
That’s the background, not sure about the death idea the other commenter said. Maybe there’s a conspiracy that she’s dead?
If I go to sleep now I’m going to wake up to a toy being shoved in my face and “play with me mummy” or a screaming kid from a nightmare. If I stay up an extra hour I get to be by myself for an extra hour.
Either way I’ll be tired.
Not much choice there, I’ll stay up and be more sleep deprived.
She could at least use wired headphones. Or is it one simple trick to stop people from calling you?
Move to the Southern Hemisphere. It’s in the middle of Summer here.
Then you can sing about snow falling and fireplaces while sweating your balls off.
Maybe it’s different in the USA, but I’ve travelled a lot and don’t think I ever remember a long haul flight without multiple babies and young children. It’s just a fact of travelling.
I recently did a 16hr flight solo and the other 3 seats in my row of 4 were parents and a toddler.
That’s just part of flying and you should plan for it (noise cancelling headphones, sleeping tablets, ear plugs).
As a manager I would definitely contact an employee’s emergency contacts and then request a welfare check if one of my team dropped off the face of the earth. Medical incidents happen and a couple of the team live alone that I know of.
