I feel ya. I tried one piece but only got like 12 episodes in. It’s so hard to find the time nowadays to get into new things
That 4th wall break caught me by surprise, but it was fun. I’m really hoping the second one does that again, or at least has a reference too it
It depends on life. Right now I’m going through some of Remedy’s games (mostly to get to Alan Wake II). Most of my picks though come from if they fit into my schedule, so if they let me save wherever or pretty periodically they’ll probably be what I go to next.
Remedy is great at making memorable and recognizable experiences like that I feel like. All their games have stuck around for me to some degree
Judging by how MP3 is excluded from the Max Payne collection on Steam (there’s a separate bundle with 1-3), it does seem to be the underrated sibling. I sadly only bought 1 & 2 in a bundle when I bought it years ago. But with how much I’m enjoying Max Payne 1, I’m definitely planning to get 3 at some point down the line
After I finish Alan Wake II, I’m considering going to Max Payne 2 (though I have a lot of games I keep piling onto the list of what I want to play. So who knows. The Steam Sale coming up certainly won’t help). If it’s anything like this one I know I’m going to have a good time though. Remedy is masters of their trade it feels like
The Bullet Time is so satisfying. And I love Max as a character. I’m a sucker for Everyman characters (part of the reason Alan Wake is one of my favorites too). I would have killed to get to experience this game as a kid. It’s so much fun I’m disappointed that I never played it sooner lol
Fuck yeah, love classic sonic so much. Sonic 2 especially
No man’s sky does an amazing job of looking pretty like this. I think i’d actively have to try to make a screenshot of the game look bad
I would say at this point it’s much better. the recent updates have helped to mitigate the issue of planets looking the same a ton. For the gameplay loop, At least for me, is very similar too launch (Go to new planet, do your preferred task to earn money. For me i use my freighter and my crew too collect goods and trade them in different systems and i also Archive animals and flora. And then I move to another system).
But they have also added more to do in that cycle too. For example, I typically break up the gameplay loop by returning to my base i built and tending to the NPCs that live there and also to use the facilities i constructed. I also manage a fleet from my freighter to send them on missions. On top of that there is the Anomaly which now has a ton of community things to do. There’s also different factions to join and get your rank up with.
It’s definitely improved a ton, i would say with it’s nature though it may not be for everyone
This is the first i’m hearing about Elite Dangerous and i’m just now discovering another game to feed my inner space nerd. I’ll have to pick it up with the upcoming steam sale
I try to keep some diversity. It’s a lot easier with a backlog of 300 games though lol
It feels like only a few weeks ago that i started posting screenshots. It’s hard to believe i’ve played through two large games in such a short amount of time. 100 days really feels longer than it actually is sometimes
You’ll find yourself at #50 before you know it!
I just started their new Cursed expedition today after trying to get around to it. After not playing for a few months it already feels like i have so much new stuff to do. I really appreciate that they didn’t give up on it.
1 more day now!!
I enjoyed the quick bit i played of it. If i’m still in a horror mood after Alan Wake II i’m definitely going back to it finish it
Alan Wake i feel like is a game franchise that only comes around rarely. Each entry is usually amazing and filled to the brim with so much care and details. I definitely enjoyed the quick time i spent with The Evil Within though, its a lot of fun and does an awesome job of keeping you in suspense, especially with how it encourages stealth i feel like
Thanks! I was working on cleaning up achievements for Alan Wake 1 al say, so Alan Wake 2 will have to wait for a little bit longer, but i’m excited to pick it up again!
I ended up installing the FSR 3 mod for it, which helped performance a bit. The Steam Deck is my only gaming device though so i sadly can’t use moonlight
