What the numpties at ShittyStreamingService haven’t considered is that yes, maybe I can afford $15 per month. But I can’t afford it for each of the 7,836 different streaming/music/gaming services!!

Couple of things that might be useful:

• Setup remote desktop access using VNC/RDP. It can be useful to access your PC etc while using your phone or other devices. Or accessing a raspberry pi on your main PC
• Setup a virtual machine and install Windows in it. It might be a good way to think about migrating to linux as your main OS
• Steam. See how performance on Linux compares to Windows for your games.

The simple way is to dual boot or even simpler, set up a Linux distro in a Windows VM.

Let’s you play/see if the distro works for you.

TBH, I’ve got 1 machine where Windows is more problematic than the Ubuntu that is setup to dual boot… Can’t bring myself to do a fresh install of Windows lol…
