bro is having a rough time, and all his ‘friends’ abandon him and him his problems are wrong . . .
First greentext that’s actually believable
I think, as with most things, it’s a continuum. On one end, they are pretty chill and at the other end are the extremists that are convinced exposed shoulders will instantly corrupt anyone with a penis.
I’ll get the house’s consent, don’t worry
This sounds like an awful lot of effort, can’t we just chill on the cartwheel sofa and let the house burn? This is fine, surely
Can’t say much on the technical shit, but I’ve only had one game perform worse on linux. Most actually seem to do better, and I have an nvidia card. Though I don’t play much in the way of multi-player or online stuff, so mileage may vary.
Every single time I try something new I reinstall Fedora within a day, pretty sure it’s just Stolkholm Syndrome at this point
I don’t think Nintendo gives a flying fuck about my ‘reinforcement’, positive or negative. All I’m trying to do issue a warning about where these kinds of decisions and policies can very quickly end up.
Today, it may be a good thing (I would argue its not, but not the point rn), but as soon a money can be made, they will weaponize it. It’s what capitalism does.
For now perhaps
Steam isn’t currently trying to use your playtime as a way to determine what you can and cannot buy
All these distopian things aren’t nearly as disconnected as you might think
“Reasonable trade-off” is all too often just a baby step to something so much worse.
Perhaps this really is just Nintendo solving the scalping problem, but it sets the foundation for policies, technology, and cultural apathy that can be even farther weaponized against people and used to manipulate how people spend money. Stuff like this is dangerous as fuck, now more than ever.
Any system used to spy on users’ daily activities and preferentially rewards people that are predetermined to have the greatest chance to make the most profit of off, seems like a fucking awful and disturbingly distopian idea.
Why the fuck would I do that
People are butthurt because literally the only evidence you’ve used to support your claim so far is “trust me bro”
People lie with words all the time, but their body language always tells the real truth if you learn to listen
PSP, Gameboy, 3DS, etc. all very pocketable without trying to reinvent the entire wheel like this goofy thing. And I suspect either the phone or the gameing aspect of this will be severely neglected as a result.
That said though, if anyone is going to make a folding screen handheld (phonsole?), Samsung is probably the best one to do it considering their history with folding phones.
oh no, anyways . . .
Sounds like its time to completely flood Reddit with ‘bannable’ content
Revisions don’t really make sense for Framework in the same way as most other tech companies though, simply because of how upgradable and swappable the laptops are. My 13 probably has parts from two or three different “versions” at this point, and works like Lucky Charms.
