It’s genuinely insufferable. I have plenty of ad block on my pc but little on my phone. When I’m doing stuff on my phone it’s sometimes impossible to navigate certain news sites or watch videos because of all the fucking ads.

I still watch most streaming like YouTube and twitch on 720p because I really don’t see nor care about the difference to 1080p.

Love that people complain about the length of movies while simultaneously happily siting through eight, hour+ long episodes of Stranger Things over two evenings.

Because a movie is a constant continuation, where as each episode has a hard end and you can stop and decide if you want to continue or stop.

It’s like buying a hot dog from a gas station and not feeling awesome tomorrow.

If you keep buying the hot dog every week, you see other people buying it and are fine, but you’re the only one getting sick week after week, at some point maybe you should just stop buying the hot dog.

No one else is getting sick. They know what they’re getting. But you keep buying it expecting this time it’ll be different. And when it isn’t it’s the gas stations fault.
