I just wish I would be allowed to have a persistent number row on my keyboard. I literally cannot fathom why I’m not permitted to have this. (And as a side-note, I also wish I could swipe type on the full-size keyboard and not have to minimize it down to the little accessibility version. There literally seems to be no point to this, except to make users’s lives more difficult.)

Just spitballing here, but I think the vast majority of the United States corporate workforce?

I’m all about a move to Linux, but I am not all about how much time that would take, and I am not at all convinced that I could achieve the same smooth integration of devices and services that I have now.

It’s so love hate for me. Their business practices have become awful, but I am still all in on their ecosystem, and I do honestly believe it is the best one available (That does not mean it doesn’t have numerous maddening flaws). Best Buy had (and may still) a stock of the Series 9 watches that still have the SpO2 function enabled, AND they had them for $100 off. I snagged one for myself (with my sleep apnea) and one for my Mom (for fall detection and such). It was my first Apple Watch, and it’s a game changer for me. Just the fact that with my ADHD, I now have an incredibly easy way to set reminders and timers right in the moment is beyond helpful. So yeah. Total Love hate.

What a forking waste of everyone’s time. Like Masimo is ANY threat to Apple’s market share in ANY appreciable way. Tim Cook has lost his way.

Yeah. That was the goal. Totally! Definitely wasn’t to maximize profits for the 1% and consolidate societal control. Don’t even give that a second thought. Now if I’m not mistaken someone’s burgers need flipping.

Yeah, but a couple dozen sociopaths at the top got significantly richer, so fuck this entire portion of the population. Clearly the right people won.
