9·3 months agoBeen an LB user for more than 2 years now, and it’s been my nerd snipping since then. The metadata is a joy to work with, and it’s quite easy to script things.
It does have that “brand new app” smell to it, but that means you get to experience seeing a long awaited feature finally getting done.

5·3 months agoIt depends on your preferences, but myself I just like knowing what I listen to a lot and send my monthly cover art collage to brag about my blorbos

The player / radio are nice, but I personally created my own radio generator based on my data

2·3 months agoDepends. LB supports traditional Lastfm scrobling, so you can use players that scrobbles to Lastfm if you can change the URL
The in-app player is more limited, but a good old Navidrome instance is plenty enough!

I think I know what happened. Did you do something like
PATH="/usr/bin/golang"?Because doing that overwrite your path variable. You need to set it like this:
PATH="{PATH}:/usr/bin/golang"to append to the path. And well… I hope you got a backup of your
/root/.bashrcor whatever you use as a terminal. Restoring it should fix itEdit: you should be able to use any program by appending /usr/bin/ to your commands, as long as it’s in this directory
Good job. I fell for it

I wanted to check out bitwarden as a self hosted service, but looks like I better stick with good ol’ keepass+Syncthing

3·2 years agoIt’s mostly that Librewolf is a bit like incognito mode by default and it may be confusing for new users.
If you really want to go power mode you can create multiple profiles with different cookie policies. Great to organise yourself and keep cookies where they belong

2·2 years agoEither you go the firefox account way (librewolf has it turned off by default but you can turn it back up)
Or you go the manual way. Go to your
about:profiles, open both directory for your profile data, and the folders in the corresponding librewolf folder (that you can check by going inabout:profileson librewolf).

11·2 years agoHere’s two tips:
- Shield icon to disable protection for the site if it break
- Icon to the right to enable cookie preservation for the site.
This is the essential thing to learn for librewolf. The settings are quite aggressive so you may need to disable the protection. And for websites you want to stay logged in, it’s opt-in.
At least they are using the internet archive, which is neat
I think the meme refers to the joke that “all guys just want a big tiddy goth girlfriend” meme.
The bottom text is just a joke to divert from the obvious meme
