I wish SR 2 was available as a technically okay version. I have the GOG edition, but that suffers from the horrendous music quality and I believe frame rate issues. I seem to remember that it’s one of those games where they tied physics to hardware clock speeds and it would never run right if you couldn’t play it on the PS 3 or X 360. I will have to look into that because I would love to enjoy all those fantastic cutscenes once again.

I read about the upcoming new version and pulled the trigger because Steam had the game for 5 €. The idea was that I might get a Steam Deck some time this year so I can play games on my commute. Will I not be able to play the game unless I open a hot spot on my phone?
Watch Dogs 2 is a weird one. I absolutely understand all the criticism and see the flaws, but I still play it and the breaks between two runs only get shorter. I love its rendition of SF and the Bay Area, the game has that je-ne-sais-quoi that draws me towards it.

Where I live, the concept is called “car sharing”. There are two small cars just across the street and if I need one, it costs 2,50 € per hour plus maybe 0,30 € per kilometer, fuel included. So if I need to make a weekly grocery run to one of the large stores, it’s probably just a little over 10-12 Euros for three hours all told.
Now, I own a car that’s older and too cheap to not keep it for longer drives when I am seeing my family (roughly an hour each way) at the weekends, but for my day-to-day needs, I probably shouldn’t own one.
