Side note. Don’t use hardware acceleration with TDARR. You will get much better encodes with software encoding, which is great for archival and saving storage.
Use hardware acceleration with Jellyfin for transcoding code on the fly for a client that needs it.
If you know what your client specs are, you can use TDARR to reencode everything to what they need and then you won’t have to transcode anything with Jellyfin.
Good luck proving that your data came from meta sources after you paid.
How about if you have a destination, find me a rest area/restaurant/whatever that is on the route. Not just around somewhere.

I think my oven/stove can be connected. I have never tried because I don’t see the need to preheat my oven when I am not home.
This is what I do as well. I always have Firefox running and can easily search the extension for whatever password I need and it is just as easy to copy from there as opening another tool.
That being said the iOS app is great for when I am away from my laptop.

That is my understanding. You could just have a bunch of generic trains and let them go where they are needed.
I think the priority settings will be most useful with some circuit controls. They could cause problems where only the iron outpost gets used if they are set incorrectly. But that could probably be fixed with just more trains.
I’m excited about the train changes. I have been playing with the LTN mods for a while and I think the way that the interrupts they are bring in will be much better.
Right out of the box I can see using this much more than the reprogrammable assemblers but those might grow on me with the limited space of the transport ships.
I personally would not use it for anything that is being saved on your drive. Using cpu encoder is slower but I just let it run over night or whatever and it will be done later.
Save GPU encoding for when you need it smaller right now like when you are transcoding on the fly.
I generally think that for storage/archiving you should use CPU encoding and only use GPU for things like transcoding where real-time results are crucial.
GPU encoding is a lot worse quality than CPU, and you can’t change the settings to what you want. Better to just accept the extra time requirement to get a better result.
I would try making one video into the format you want and see if it plays where you want it.
I like the interface of Airsonic, but it looks like it hasn’t been updated in 4 years, and Airsonic-advanced hasn’t had any action since February of last year for the experimental branch or 2020 for the stable branch.
What do people use? I tried Navidrome a while back and wasn’t happy for some reason. Should I try it again?

I learned that hummingbirds are native to North America and they don’t have them in Europe. That made me sad for all of them over there.
I have an anecdote that says the opposite. I got the same fridge, washer, and dryer from LG when we moved in our house 10 years ago and have had no problems with any one of them. My wife hates that we got a model with the freezer as a drawer on the bottom and would have preferred a side by side but no problems with anything breaking.
Our Bosch dishwasher on the other hand had a gasket start leaking during the pandemic and it took the repair people 4 or 5 months to get a replacement in. I think they were redesigning a faulty part at the same time as all the supply chain issues so we had a really bad time with that. It was only a couple years old at the time and has worked ever since.
