What’s funny is that virtually everyone acknowledges it. Even Trump acknowledges it when he said that “China thinks in decades”. But the Western capitalist culture is too strongly ingrained that the instinct to be greedy overrides any rational sense.

But from anti-colonial and anti-authoritarian perspective, US has always been garbage. Trump only removed the pretensions. I mean, Joe Biden affirmed that US will invade Holland if any Americans are arrested by the International Court there. So much for a country that purports rules based international order, if the most supreme power the world has ever seen confirmed that such rules and order don’t apply to them.

Calling them that makes it sound like they are honourable when they’re not.
As a multicultural person, depends what society you’re in. Western culture is hedonistic and obsessed with sex, while the more conservative non-Western cultures are prude and ascetic. Either way, both cultures put sex on pedestal. When one loses their virginity doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. Humans are weird creatures for having this attitude on sex.
It’s society putting sex on pedestal. I agree when I did the deed for the first time, I feel it is overrated. Sorry if i might slight someone here, but from my observation, it is kind of the shallower folks who put too much value on sex.
I wonder if these folks were ever taught by their parents how to clean themselves. Or, they could be neurodivergent and didn’t know it.

I use its AI features mainly for stock projections and to search for information on company earnings release. Because when I try to search for earnings schedule by myself, I get conflicting information. DDG AI is actually pretty useful to read troves of webpages and find the relevant information for me in that regard.

I don’t disagree. I suppose having grown up with “stranger danger” message being drilled into us made us that way. I don’t want to start a generation fight and blame boomers, but who are the parents of millenials who taught us the message that made us hypervigilant? The stranger danger message has merit, but if older generations are complaining why we behave that way, you reap what you sow as the saying goes.
Another consideration is that if Anon is Gen Z, it is very likely that his peers grew up with constant attention to online and digital presence, which makes them socially awkward. It didn’t help either that much of Gen Z spent two years cooped up in their own homes during the pandemic. It does not take a genius to figure out what those two phenomena does to an entire generation.

Linguists also dismiss LLMs in similar vein because LLMs can’t grasp context. It is always funny to be sarcastic and ironic on an LLM.
Soft skills and culture are what that the current iteration of LLMs lack. However, I do think there is still huge potential for AI development in dacades to come, but I want this AI bubble to burst as “in your face” to companies.
Everyone: We’re going to have universal basic income to compensate us for losing jobs to AI, right?!
Elites:…
