Interesting. I do not see Minecraft when I look at this game. I see 2d sprites and billboards and lots of flat surfaces which is what I remember older games to look like. The colors are the only place that I see a resemblance

It makes a generation feel special if they are convinced that they are enduring something extraordinary. Every single generation has had plenty to complain about but the loudest will be the current generation of course.

I think your chances would be better against a human driver. Once these are fully automated they will have about 20 cameras covering every angle possible.

Yea I’m running a 5090 so I use Path tracing on everything. One of the reasons I got it was so I could use path tracing at 4k.

It was an issue last year, wasn’t sure that it was ever resolved. I know VR performance was poor in reviews for the latest cards as well. Well poor when compared to a similarly priced NVidia card with SPS.

Path tracing is amazing in Cyberpunk and Indiana Jones. It’s sooo much better than without. Can never go back at this point

Been gone for at least 15 years for me. Like do people still have DVD/CD ROM drives in their machines. It’s been ages since I’ve even considered physical games since I find it a hassle over my steam library. No, AI is one of the chief innovations which is a huge money maker. Don’t forget the US still dominates the enterprise server market which is worth trillions. Processors and GPUs are still designed and some manufactured here. Innovation comes in all shapes and sizes, AI is just the latest buzz.

The company is the heart of the software and it would not exist without the company most likely. True the execs get probably a larger share of any payments but it’s just the way the world works. It’s a piece of software produced by the company, not the developers.
