They aren’t choosing to be stupid as part of some evil plot, they’re just ignorant and don’t want to change because they don’t think they should have to.

The problem is, a lot of the people who support these people are just… Stupid
I have known many a coworker who talked about voting for trump and every time I engage them in conversation about it I realize all their genuine beliefs are against the GOPs policies entirely. They just are scared of things they don’t understand and like them talking about how scary minorities are.
Gnosticism, to me, honestly feels like the true story of Christianity. Like, in the gospel of Mary I believe it’s basically stated that Mary was the favorite apostle of Jesus and that Peter was jealous. So while all the other apostles seem to have encountered Jesus after his death in a more spiritual fashion rather than a literal resurrection, Peter was the only one to have explicitly met Jesus and seen him physically resurrect after his death. Convenient that Jesus would also tell him, and only him, that he would carry on as the head of the faith.
I just love how much the whole thing feels like the church covering up what really happened, even if it’s basically impossible to know for sure.
Huh, didn’t realize they published smt v
You know they will, just making a good product isn’t enough, they need to somehow sell us more bullshit so they can make infinitely more money than ever all the time. So Logitech will absolutely go through with something like this
That’s the most baffling MMO decision I’ve seen, tbh. WoW has plenty of issues but at least they aren’t just deleting the continent of Northrend to save on install space or anything
Star Citizen is an exclusively online game, though?
Because they probably didn’t and thought “this would make a funny green text” instead
I still don’t know what exactly it was about Assassins Creed Odyssey that made it work so well for me overall, but I liked the level scaling in it. Areas had a minimum level, so I’d try to go there at lower levels and get my ass beat. But being higher level didn’t make the areas that much easier, because they would scale up to me. What gave me a feeling of progression was my available toolkit to deal with enemies as time went on.
Yeah I was literally playing System Shock on Linux just a couple hours ago with maybe only a couple more hitches than in my windows install
I’ve heard this current season is good but I haven’t played Diablo 4
It’s wild seeing overwatch 2 do so poorly while world of warcraft is simultaneously having its best expansion cycle it’s had in a very very long time between retail actually being fun and season of discovery
Yeah especially now that it’s very clearly the game plan. It works when people aren’t certain a PC port is coming but now that we know every PlayStation game gets a PC port, why bother?
I can see an argument for PSN and to a lesser degree Steam being anti-competitive. But from this article they seem to be implying a major point is them being digital markets pushing out “traditional” game sales, which sounds silly to me.
I don’t really see how this would compete with Stardew Valley, honestly, sounds more like the initial Sims comparison is more apt. Stardew and Sims are pretty different games
It’s the difference between emulating the system to run that rom and just actually playing it on your computer
Peanut butter?
Ofc they do
we still need to say Diablo clone because everything is an ARPG now, look at the tag on Steam
Which is why I’m saying it isn’t malicious on their part. Calling it malicious implies that they are ignorant out of spite. There are people like that, and many people who are malicious in taking advantage of them, but my 70 year old coworker who just doesn’t understand LGBT people and hasn’t talked to enough black people in their life isn’t malicious, just purely ignorant and scared of change.
