That’s because it’s not about the nudity or the sexual gratification. It’s about humiliating another person. It gives certain people a sense of power and they find that euphoric. And for those who watch these videos, well voyeurism is a thing.

Are you sure you’d be able to tell? These people are actively looking for ways to disguise these things so that you can’t tell that they’re wearing them.

The point is that she didn’t even know she was being recorded. That’s why this story is all about the smart glasses being used to covertly record people.

So the deal will cost the state billions but in the end it will net them millions.

Yeah I love how the article keeps dancing around that fact. It’s like they’re absolutely terrified to actually put it into words.
And, quite frankly, they should be. The collapse there setting up right now could very well eclipse the subprime mortgage collapse of 2008.

It’s also hard to virtue signal your bullshit faith at people when you DIY your own cock blocking.
Hard disagree. Even though it’s initial outing was not the smoothest Windows 10 eventually got there and they made many improvements on Windows 7. So much so that it ran quite well for many many years which is why it was so widely adopted.
Quite frankly it’s my belief that the reason they force implemented Windows 11 was because Windows 10 was running so fucking well that they were seeing zero growth in their OS sales cause no one was needing to upgrade anymore. I myself had Windows 10 running on a machine that was over 15 years old. And it ran quite well.

Wow, that guy is an absolute putz. Like, postmarketOS literally tells you that their shit is not ready for prime time and to be ready for it to be a little bit wonky right now. And this guy is acting like they’re advertising it as it is ready for Freddy and it’s just garbage or something. Not to mention the way he installed it was just stupid. My 8-year-old niece could do this better than he did.
I think I’ll find a video made by somebody more competent.

I’ll look it up and try to find it. But I’m pretty sure there’s a YouTube video where they actually did ask Chat GPT to come up with new recipes and baking ideas and then they tried to make them to the results you would expect.
Edit: ok, so it looks like there are a whole lot of YouTubers making AI recipes to the expected results. So Google away.

Not to mention that someone’s going to come out with a jailbreak option for every 3D printer within a couple of weeks of this being implemented at a manufacturing scale.

You mean ever since he sold out and took Saudi blood money?

Ironic that the first generation in 100 years not to grow up inhaling fucktons of lead with every breath are making more informed decisions concerning their reproductive health.

Yeah if you’re going to go hard on protesting, you should probably not be using an iPhone. Literally the least secure phone in the entire universe.

The fog was not the point.

Okay here’s a situation. You’re on a road and it’s gotten foggy and the roads are a bit slick because of the fog. All of a sudden the comfortable 68° temperature you have the cabin set to is causing your windshield to fog up. On a car with buttons and knobs you can just reach over grab it twist a knob or press a button and change the setting. However, with touch screen menus you have to actually turn to look at the screen, taking your eyes off the road in unsafe weather, to find the setting to switch it to defog. That’s just one scenario there are at least a dozen others. Not to mention what would happen when it’s snowing out and you have to take your eyes off the road to search a touch screen for the right setting on anything. Radio, brights, 4 wheel drive, etc etc etc…

Tesla sales were driven by an $8,000 tax credit that doesn’t exist anymore. That company is sinking faster than the Titanic now that the tax credit has disappeared.

Touchscreens are cheaper to install than tactile buttons. That’s the draw for carmakers.

A few, like Tesla, have successfully made cars that act and feel like consumer devices—vehicles with lots of tech features, **** and a steady stream of meaningful software updates. Most are playing catch-up.
“smooth digital interfaces”
Nobody actually fucking wants this!
But that’s kind of the point. They want people who didn’t “sign up for it”. That’s part of the allure for these people. And for the viewer side as well. I have literally watched people angrily debate that a video depicting such things was “faked” and that counted as a negative for the people who watch those. I honestly don’t get what the difference is between a person who’s getting a paycheck and somebody who’s being stalked and fucked with for somebody who’s watching that sort of content. But sadly they exist in far too large numbers.
