The way the religion is presented to them ties it very purposefully with actual history which, for many of them, gives it all the authenticity needed to believe the crazy shit.

That fact is important because it’s also why they won’t leave us alone, they think the entirety of mankinds existence revolves around these end times ideas and indeed their beliefs REQUIRE there to be non-believers that suffer for rejecting it.

We have wildly different dating philosophies. Friends for me always stay friends. If my intentions ain’t explicitly romantic at the outset they never get there. Additionally I’ve had a lot of deep connections by dating around.

But this kinda illustrates part of the problem with dating. None of us seem to have the same approach or philosophy

This right here, I have never had any luck moving a single person I currently communicate with from iMessage. Dating makes this even more complicated.

So I’ve dabbled on and off with Tailscale for a while and have pretty much all my services besides my video players behind it. Was part of a big efficiency push I did earlier in the year which was a giant pain in the ass so I’m kinda taking a step back for a few weeks and enjoy the fruits of my work and also catch up on all the things I forget to do when I hyper fixate on my lab.
