  • Having worked in this space in the past, on the document and imaging processing side. I was unaware that ai was being used in monitoring.

The dangers I see from the technology side to the end user side is, companies replying on the model data and hiring according, versus skilled nurses using their knowledge and intuition to interpret ai data and responses.

But from purely a processing scope, AI is extremely beneficial, just the lost of tribal knowledge on why we need to use ai will get lost

  • Hopefully you don’t conform and assimilate into trekdom or Linux nerd popular memedom.

As a reddit api refuge, I realize just how much effort it is to A create content B maintain frequency

For power users its easier to run a bot to automate posting. I would suggest two things need to take place possibly 3. One a new community for just new community request, and we direct ppl there and combine the posters with ppl.who want the content?

As much as everyone enjoys the beans, I’m sure if content makers had insight on what content leechers wanted some shift.

Right now lemmy still feels like a private club, bit once the news outlets start looking to lemmy communities for information the shift will happen.

I just hope the spirit of lemmy being free but understanding support the mods, donate to the org and this will remain free.

  • As reddit refugee the biggest plus of lemmy is the ease in which it feels. Almost like visiting Canada from the States… But the longer you stay the difference are clearer.

Ive had to change my habits, I was a lurker on reddit and realize abunch of lurkers moved over and are just looking for traction ans information. I now receive just about all of the news I was learning from reddit and the last push is engagement.

The other added bonus is commenting here is not commenting on reddit. Ppl are interested in a dialogue even if they disagree with your point. This will be what saves lemmy.
