Ah yes, a Roadmap so ambitious it requires less hands.
I think Hideo would have a case if they didn’t credit him and the original developers. They obviously didn’t design the game from scratch.
I mean, I’m pretty sure cyberpunk settings usually center around the dystopic future brought about by late stage capitalism.
Careful bud, you’re really working over my feelings here.
Keep fluffing each other
Why do you want to be God’s specialist little guy? You didn’t contribute anything other than “oh I used Windows XP, unlike other Gen z.” it’s so insignificant and boring. Nothing personal but I’m just calling a spade a spade.

So is that like, what gets the kids street cred? Windows XP usage?
Pretty cool I guess?

It was game of the year when it came out…
Is this true? The series has had sequence breaks both intentional and otherwise in every game. I don’t think they parched the ones out of Dread either.
No, really, if you understood how the language models work, you would understand it’s not really intelligence. We just tend to humanize it because that’s what our brains do.
There’s a lot of great articles that summarize how we got to this stage and it’s pretty interesting. I’ll try to update this post with a link later.
I think LLMs are useful (and fun) and have a place, but intelligence they are not.
I think there’s space for artifical company, and I don’t think it’s a bad idea, but I think it best to lead toward getting grounded in reality. We’re social creatures and have a habit of humanizing almost anything.
I think the writing is on the wall at this point. Console sales aren’t great, and are losing their relevance. Most consoles share the same architecture and it looks like Microsoft is focusing more on making content much like Netflix does. That’s probably why they bought (and will keep buying) big game studios and publishers.
Weird, I think the whole PC console game war was relevant when I was a kid and everything was new and cool, but I think at this point the whole “who’s winning the console war” feels immature and is holding the industry back.
Like others have said, I don’t really give a shit what content runs on, so as long as it runs. Better if things run well and I can take them with me like the deck.
You can make the argument about why it’s better to play content on a PC but what’s the point of the comparison? Why does it matter who is better? In an ideal world, everything would run great on affordable PCs that everyone has access to, but I don’t think we’re at that reality.
Wow you wouldn’t think so with the way video game employees have been culled
Sorry what? You know you can make Mac and cheese from scratch right? It’s not too difficult.
Some new competiton would be nice too. I remember when companies like Palm made their own competent OS. I wouldn’t even mind if Windows mobile made a reappareance. What do people even need anymore except a versatile browser and the ability to play games?
I wonder how my man Gordon is doing…
