Since there is a user acceptance policy that restricts what you can do with the model that might be considered “partially” open.
Yeah you can see the weights, but it seems you are limited on what you can do with the weights. How we’ve gotten to the point you can protect these random numbers that I’ve shared with you through a UA is beyond me.

Oddly enough I do actually think a charged battery is heavier, just as a full hard drive is heavier. But not to a degree that would matter.
I think the real issue is the large, typically procedurally generated, open worlds that feel empty. Even BOTW lacks a lot of substance to the world they built (villages feel smaller and less important, little/no ovwrworld secrets, etc.). I think games like God of War did a good job of openish worlds with some exploration, but still crafted.
Is there any good videos/articles detailing real world use cases for this stuff. I watched a couple of things on Recall, but there wasn’t much in terms of what I would actually use it for. While I do have issues from time to time finding things, it doesn’t feel like that big of a mover for the cost (privacy or compute).
I’m glad to hear that it isn’t procedurally generated. Chasm had some good gameplay, but the procedurally generated design didnt really work well with it, or probably any Metroidvania games.

I suspect it’s more about tracking users. By requiring psn accounts they can see who also has a ps4/5 but is also buying for PC. In addition gives them more insight into the different markets, etc.
I mean, the whole point of a PSN account is to collect data on you and have greater control over their software.
Hallucinations aren’t fixable, as LLMs don’t have any actual “intelligence”. They can’t test/evaluate things to determine if what they say is true, so there is no way to correct it. At the end of the day, they are intermixing all the data they “know” to give the best answer, without being able to test their answers LLMs can’t vet what they say.

Just a slight correction. ML/AI has aided in all sorts of discoveries, GenAI is a “remixing of existing concepts”. I don’t believe I’ve read, nor does the underlying principles really enable, anything regarding GenAI and discovering new ways to do things.
Better yet, just edit princess mononoke and tweak the prince’s blue tunic to match the BOTW tunic and give both the prince and princess blonde hair. Then add some Ganon theme music when they show the demons.
Especially for games with a lot of end game or story driven elements. Depending on how they roll out changes you can find you ended up missing content.
If there were more search systems/engines there would be a wider variety of ways search results are optimized. Meaning SEO would have a greater level of diminishing returns. Having a single player creates a single point of weakness in search.

Taking photos and the right for commercial use of the photos are two different things. The reason why film crews/photographers generally ask for people to sign releases is because it’s not clear cut. While the US is generally more forgiving, it’s not a guarantee.
