a good reason is that they are controlled by Google and without competition they can implement any anti-consumer features they want
While that may be your sentiment, it seems that for many people, especially in countries like China, having more smart features is a positive selling point.
perfectly-landed never happened before, and never will
Before you paid for “free” software with your data, you used to pay by agreeing to install a search bar in your browser. Usually you just uninstalled it directly afterwards. Not this guy though.
Seems to be a much faster interface with bigger bandwidth.

You can get a legit Windows 11 key for like 5 bucks, no reason not to install it honestly. Even if only for dual booting, it can save you a lot of headaches.
That means you’re not yet being affected by it.
Your argument against removable batteries is that they had a “flimsy plastic back”? seriously prefer being unable to change the battery when its capacity decreases, being unable to carry a spare battery around, and having to pay dumb service fees, all just to not have a back that you barely even notice is made of plastic?
Also removable storage is extremely useful as well, not only for being able to cheaply increase space when needed, but also to minimize the effort of swapping devices or sharing large files more quickly.
Modular is always better. The only good argument against it is shareholder profits.
Yes, that precise statement is given by Morty after his whole family was killed and replaced by another one, but if you rewatch the scene it’s very clear that he’s definitely not okay! He’s trying to find comfort in behaving and rationalizing like Rick would, but being miserable while doing so anyways. At no point during that scene, or the whole show for that matter, is the message that it’s the correct approach to coping with anything! If anything, only after the characters suffer cathartic moments and let their emotions run free for a bit is when we see some sort of growth and positivity.
You’re assuming that because the main character of the show has that moral stance, that the show is promoting it?
That’s exactly what isn’t happening and what this whole discussion is about.
The show goes to great lengths to actually show how miserable Rick’s life is precisely because of that!
I’m curious where you read the part “justifying the main character to be an asshole”?
yes, but also if you don’t love Cola.
Yes, but also chances sometimes are coupled to contra-chances that trigger instead and are scary enough to warrant avoiding the whole thing.
yes, and also he is the armchair
