This isn’t stupid, it’s fucking terrifying.

I know what you’re saying, but if a company is valued at 10 billion for instance, then gets revalued down to 100mil, that difference has not gone anywhere, it has simply ceased to exist. And if you had invested 100k to own 0.001% of the 10 billion company, you now only own 0.001% of a 100 million company. Your investment has lost its value, with whatever implications that has for you. The value hasn’t shifted around, it’s ceased to exist!

It doesn’t work like this though. If your pension fund is heavy into a company that suddenly loses 90% of its value, your pension suddenly becomes worth a lot less…

This is a long term investment, predicting that the bubble will burst _at some point _. It doesn’t signify that he believes the collapse to be imminent. The market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent!

Hold out for the Luton expansion, they developed 13 more shades of concrete, just for the game!
Lab grown diamonds are actually flawless, so the jewellery industry represents them as being too perfect. Apparently you need the imperfections that natural diamonds have in order to have ‘character’ and therfore value!

Ha. Ha ha. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha… No. The wealthiest customers get the best price, obviously.
Yeah but, I’m talking about this particular case, not making a mathematical rule. You have to move away from the coast, and then cannot turn, so you have to head towards Africa. You can’t set off toward Australia. Although I hadn’t considered that you can just move the starting point. So, there’s that.
India. You would have to set off somewhat perpendicular to the Indian coastline to be perfectly straight.
I’ll bet that every single place named Tower Bridge in the USA has had a shooting incident. Probably in the last year.

Yep, according to the article, they have a strong enough lobby bribe machine to win exemption.

Since they increase theft/loss rates. If the increase in losses is greater than the saving in wages, they are a failure.
You think they allow prices to go down?
