Tokyo actually requires bicycle insurance to be carried by riders now. Nothing nationwide here.

You can do what I did and move to another country. It just takes a lot of time, work, and money to get there (though money can accelerate the former two, in some cases).
Ooooh, look at “I can sleep once and only once per day and never for longer than a day” over here ;P :)
Not particularly, based on my experience. Now, if you want AS/400 people and such…
I am so happy not to have to mess with that. LOADHIGH agony.
They partner with an enemy of the US who now gets a presence in mainland North America at the US’s doorstep making infiltration to the US, etc. even easier.
I find google better than ddg the vast majority of the time… and google sucks
I actually got board, got a new HDD, and got linux mint on it. It doesn’t seem to have a bootloader installed and trying to install grub2 hasn’t changed anything. I’m also pretty disappointed in game support. Maybe I’m missing something, but Steam knows it’s on linux and a huge number of games in my library just say they run on windows or windows and mac.
I’ll check it out. Thanks!
its new policy interpretation will not include proactively removing content related to neo-Nazis and far-right extremism. But Substack will continue to remove any material that includes “credible threats of physical harm
Not even removing nazi publications
One of my goals after moving is to get another HDD and dual-boot as I transition away. I mostly have to figure out gaming and video editing stuff. I will also probably run WINE just for notepad++ because I can’t quit it with the textfx tools (so far as I know, the linux clone was abandoned, sadly).
Tons of places do not have bidets. Hell, numerous places here still have squat toilets. I guess they are common in many tourist spots and stations in bigger cities. I have some occasional digestive issues and tend to know where toilets with washlets are in places I frequent.
This is totally not my experience. Maybe you have a bad bidet and/or dietary issues?
Yeah, seconded. I saw a decent chunk of things in person like I saw on bash.org. People were silly and/or dumb long before friendster, myspace, facebook, etc. and did plenty of shitposting (and just general cringe-y teenage obnoxiousness) on IRC and the like.
This is a fantastic game. Definitely grindy by today’s standards. I also remember getting it when it came out and how many hours upon hours I sank into it. I would also say using something with savestates and maybe some other strategies to cut some of the grind out.
Never touched it. The bait-and-switch with some of the products they offered and then the trainwreck of the actual game at launch ruined it for me. I actually unsubscribed from ESO, which I was paying monthly for at the time, because of how shady Bethesda looked.
just bring a backpack or some other bag.
I know several websites consider firefox’s built-in privacy settings an adblocker in certain configurations. I get notices on many sites and use no adblocker. Not sure if it’s the case here.
The app itself has alerts so I’m surprised people are using Twitter to get it’s alerts. I don’t use Twitter, but I didn’t know that was a thing. NERV is the fastest-alerting app I’ve found on Android for quakes here. Good on them, though, for better use of their money and getting off that hellhole.
As others have mentioned, Twitter is huge in Japan. Almost no small businesses have websites; they market and show availability etc. through Insta, FB, and twitter
We have a lot of days in the upper 30s here every summer. I don’t know how anyone can do anything without being drenched in sweat here.
