That’s my hope, would be nice of they actually confirmed it.
With their story being “for security” I could see them trying to do a purge.

What I haven’t seen is what happens to all of the apps I currently have installed when this hits.
Am I going to have to wait 24 hours to open apps I already have installed?
Will they all get auto-removed and need reinstalling?
Everything is written as if you’re starting from new not an existing state.

Another vote for immich here, works great and let’s me shade albums with other accounts on my server.
Just tried to check, looks like it’s not in the Play store anymore ☹️
Guess next time I get a new phone the game will end

I have a version installed that allows a larger grid, this play through is over 5 years old.

I’m in the same boat here, I watch on my TV through a Roku and I don’t think there are any options for ad blocking.

I use the community maintained docker container from https://github.com/nextcloud/docker
It’s separate containers for all the services, if you scroll down the readme you’ll find the compose file they recommend to start you out.

Just need to wait long enough to make it three fiddy

It’s the other way around. Nintendo is a law firm with a game dev hobby.
This reminds me of that scene in one of the Pirates of the Carribbean movies where Davey Jones has to stand in a bucket of water to go on land for a meeting.

You have forever changed the way I communicate from this day on.

I have never once missed it. I’ve already switched to Bluetooth for my headphones and car. At home I cast to the hifi or Bluetooth speaker.
I got an adaptor to let me use cabled headphones when I need to and I’ve used it twice, once was to test it even worked.
The use case just doesn’t exist for me anymore.
Just a warning, don’t go chasing high runtime numbers. It’s better to have downtime for kernel updates and OS patches than to have a machine that’s been up for months.
That said there are ways to update without rebooting so if you do want to chase runtime there’s a whole new rabbit hole to explore :)
