Besides fighting the system, a good solution in cases like this is to find roommates. You can easily drop your rent and utilities cost to a third of what you’d normally pay.

Why not? I haven’t used it yet but it seems great too.
All of the Valve employees are making bank. I don’t think they’ll be changing their core values any time soon even if he dies.
We’re talking about farms. Not just a plant or two you can have in your yard.
I don’t live in the Netherlands either. And in my country I already vote for the most left party that wants to legalize it.
Not sure why you feel the need to make this personal about me.
Don’t worry either, it’s not like I think I’m replying to OP.
Like the US? No thanks.
Worldwide there are not many places. It’s not even legal in the Netherlands to grow weed (with an exception for personal use).
It isn’t but feel free to notice the obvious similarities.
I don’t care about people growing weed and making some moneys.
But if you’re going to fuck up the electricity net or even stealing it from your neighbors, you’re a fuckhead.
Nowadays you can just use LED lights and a heat pump and be extremely stealthy. Maybe even put some solar panels.

The more rooms an apartment or house has, the less you pay for each one separately. I paid less than €300/month living with 2 other roommates.
Maybe you’re talking about the US.
