      You’re incorrect. If it’s actually felt, shame is the most powerful motivator for change. The personal satisfaction comes not from what the effort might accomplish, but from defending the ground you walk on when invaders try to tarnish its value. I will not let them enter every space I occupy and bloviate unchallenged.

          Shaming people is how we got were we are. It doesn’t seem to be working.

          The person who loves shame, sounds like they’ve been hurt. Consider the speaker might be biased.
