          Elections aren’t fascist in and of themselves, but you can’t simply abstract a concept from its surrounding context. This type of thinking is called metaphysics, and is the source of a whole host of errors in analysis. Elections between 2 far-right, genocidal, imperialist parties will only ever support that system. Elections in a democratic, worker-run socialist state, ie a dictatorship of the proletariat as opposed to a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie, is indeed leftist. Establishing such a democratic system is the primary goal for the working classes today who do not currently live in one.

          Voting for a genocide backing fascist because they are more personable than the cruel mean fascist rather than doing anything constructive makes you a fascist. The real leftist option is not voting for fascists and then yes ideally overthrowing the capitalist system(sort of a core part of being a leftist).
