Gives me Strange Horticulture vibes
This is sad. For the same reason I can’t play Half Life 2, Portal and Talos Principle >.<
I haven’t played since they added a bunch of updates and features but a while back it lacked the deep bonds you can forge in Stardew Valley but they added more content to this part of the game so I guess it became better in this regard. Collecting pets is likely still the main focus.
You start in a base island where you can forage building material and start collecting pets. You then build flying objects (I think you start with a kite?) to leave and discover other islands with different pets and different difficulties (finding out the difficulty is through fuck around and find out afaik).
The building is besides some very basic objects entirely optional but having a barn fit your pets it’s very important. But then you can go out, discover islands and collect pets.
What felt a bit annoying was that there are specific items needed to open dungeons on some of these islands and these items may only appear during a specific season. I was a bit frustrated when I finally found the summer dungeon and it just became fall.
Writing this made me want to replay it since they added a bunch of interesting stuff. But even in it’s unfinished state I would have recommended it.
Oh boy, I had the same issue with Staxel and I don’t get it… why? This annoyed me way more than I expected
I guess no cuteness / anime excludes the rune factory series so I’d go with the following recommendations:
There are also cross overs with other genres like Moonstone Island which combines building your own home and collecting pets and discovering new islands with their help.
Why wouldn’t it make sense to cross these areas by train? You don’t need a stop in the desert but before and after sounds sensible to me.
I haven’t crossed border by train since they started to do this again. But when I’m travelling within Germany the trains that come from out of country are usually delayed.
Afaik the train is sometimes stopped to check the papers of all passengers. I guess these are the cases with the heavy delay. But they also do controls in moving trains which makes it more tolerable but still…
Here are numbers from 2022 but you still need to do the math
That statement is a bit too broad for me. You can not only use highspeed rail within Germany but also to reach the countries around it. E.g. Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, (ICE trains) or use the TGV to reach Paris in a reasonable time.
But with the (illegal) border controls currently it’s insufferable. Will travel through France by train in September and I fear that the border controls will totally derail (haha) our time and travel plans.
We decided to use the train because the air connections took us longer since we didn’t want to vacate in a city with an airport and don’t live in one either.
I interpreted this more like a reference to the original developer of God of War who was pretty vocal about not being happy with the new games.
That’s something I can wholeheartedly agree on!
I get where you’re coming from. But I still disagree.
What you describe makes sense from a realistic standpoint BUT I don’t see why we shouldn’t hold corporations to a higher standard since they are selling this exact higher standard to us.
Yes Fastfood workers likely aren’t paid enough to care about customized orders but that isn’t a ME problem. It’s the company’s problem since they can’t keep up with their promises. So time to hold them responsible.
Also my two cents to add to the general issue: if I can’t cater to custom needs or don’t want to, I can still lie to the customer and tell them it’s not possible instead of risking to kill them through my apathy.
Your question makes it sound like Epic is a small new player at the market and they are trying their best and both is not true.
Epic is actively working on enshittification, Steam, at least for now, isn’t. For me it’s easy as that.
I prefer archive.org for stuff like that https://archive.org/details/the-duck-factory
Currently watching King of the Hill there. No ads, no accounts or comments, just plain streaming
It’s not about “getting someone”. The concerts are in clubs that have a zero tolerance. If there’s a Nazi band on the stage shit will hit the fan. This may range from other bands refusing to play in the same stage to people attacking each other.
You get usually two kind of responses: People are pretty clear in their response: “Of course not” or “Fuck Nazis” are the usual replies here.
Then there are others who get offended or try to discuss what Nazi means. That’s a “yes” in disguise and enough to not book them.
Meh depends on the setting. My partner and I are organizing smaller concerts from time to time. If we are about to book an unknown band sooner or later we have to ask the Nazi question.
The setting here feels similar.
Watching Leopards eating each other’s faces is my favorite pastime
What’s described in this article is a symptom which is not caused by technical progress but by poverty and greed
At least in Germany it is available on Netflix.
But be warned: the trailer attracted a legion of Ninjas who immediately started cutting onions in my living room.
I had the same experience with Graveyard Keeper but gave it another try a few years later. Either they balanced it more or it bothered me less, but the second time I was able to complete it without ending up hating it :D
